  • Wash the apples and remove the stem. With a mandolin set to 3mm or a very sharp knife, slice the apples into thin round chips leaving the skin on. Make sure to follow safety guidelines with your mandolin.
  • Remove the seeds from the center of each slice.
  • Toss the apple slices with the melted coconut oil, cinnamon, and nutmeg until evenly coated in a medium bowl or extended plate. (Use whatever is easiest for you to turn the apple slices and ensure full coating.)
  • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C). Place the prepared apple slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not stacked heavily. Cook for 6 – 8 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking process.
